Mayhem Mode is the headline feature of the Mayhem Collection — a downloadable expansion launching in September 2026 and bundled with the Deluxe Edition.

What it is

A villain-side mode, not a swap

Per Warner Bros. Games and the official LEGOBatmanGame.com FAQ, Mayhem Mode adds The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, each with their own abilities, gadgets, and takedowns. It ships alongside a brand-new story mission in which the pair break out of Arkham Asylum and cause chaos on the streets of Gotham City.

Mayhem Mode is part of the Mayhem Collection, a paid expansion. Specific gameplay specifics beyond the abilities/gadgets/takedowns line and the Arkham breakout setup have not been detailed by WB Games or TT Games at time of writing.

    The Mayhem Collection is bundled with the Deluxe Edition at no extra cost when it goes live in September 2026.
  • Standalone DLC Mayhem Collection · Sept. 2026
    Releases as paid downloadable content for Standard Edition owners. Exact release date and price not yet announced.
  • Platforms PS5 · Xbox Series X|S · PC
    Same platforms as the base game (Steam and Epic Games Store on PC). Nintendo Switch 2 version release window for the base game and DLC is to be announced.

The Mayhem Collection also includes the Sinister Pack: seven new suits (one per original playable character), one new Batmobile, and five Batcave customization props.
