How co-op works
- Player 2 picks up a controller at any time and joins as a second character.
- In missions: both players take roles needed by puzzle pads (e.g. Batman + Robin).
- In open Gotham: both players free-roam Gotham simultaneously, dynamic split-screen handles distance.
- Collectibles, suits, and trophies progress on the host save.
Same co-op model as the entire LEGO Batman trilogy. The lack of online co-op continues the franchise pattern — no LEGO game has ever shipped with online co-op as a core feature.
