The LEGO Batman Trilogy
The 2008–2014 trilogy from Traveller's Tales is what most people mean when they say 'LEGO Batman games'. Three titles, escalating ambition each time, shared engine + style.

Should I play in order?
No. There's no story continuity between titles — each is a standalone retelling of Batman's rogues' gallery in LEGO form. Start with LB2 if you want the breakthrough entry, or LB3 if you want maximum character variety.
Is the trilogy bundled?
The LEGO Batman Trilogy bundle exists on Steam and PlayStation Store and includes all three games. Routinely available for under $15 on sale.
What about LEGO DC Super-Villains?
LEGO DC Super-Villains (2018) is a same-engine spin-off — not officially part of the trilogy, but feels like a natural follow-up. Plays as the villains with a custom character.
